THE TWO BIG THINGS THIS WEEK
- Monday - Community Send-Off performance - YES, this is mandatory, if you are not there, you do not perform at State.
- Tuesday - State Marching Championships
- Wednesday - Turn in Marching Instruments/ straighten up band hall from marching season
- Thursday - Study Hall
- Friday - Shortened day/ Study Hall

Monday 12/14 Community Performance
- PARENTS - You may purchase a TWB 30 YEAR UIL shirt ($15) at this event at a table in the concourse.
- If you are a remote learner, your parent can pick up your meal money ($20) at a table in concourse.

- We will load trailers afterward and those traveling with parents will take your uniform and instrument with you.
UNIFORM ITEMS - TRAVEL
You will bring your uniform in your garment bag, along with your hat box with your shako in it when you travel (car or bus).
Use your TWB tote bag for your hat box and other items. THESE WILL GO ON THE BUS OR IN THE CAR WITH YOU.
- Mask or Gaiter
- Band Together Show Shirt (State Show Shirt should be in by Monday, so wear that if it comes in)
- Compression shorts or leggings
- LONG black socks
- Uniform Bibbers
- Uniform Jacket
- Shako
- Gloves
...and hey, don't forget your instrument....no, that really happened once.
Freshmen, you don't need your flip folder, so don't ask...we don't get all the bands at State together to play one giant version of Hey Baby.
TUESDAY 12/15 ITINERARY
Those traveling with parents, you will meet us in full uniform with your instrument at the Alamodome parking lot B at 12:30PM. There will be traffic all the way down to San Antonio, so plan accordingly.
5:00AM Band Hall Opens5:20AM Load Charter Buses
- Garment bag (uniform jacket/ pants/ gauntlets/ gloves)
- TWB tote bag with hat box in it
- Wearing marching shoes
- Instrument (except percussion)
11:00AM Stopping at Buccee's outside of San Antonio for early lunch & change into uniform. You will receive $20 as you get off the bus.
11:45AM Depart Buccee's
12:30PM Arrive at Alamodome
1:08PM Move to Warm Up (OUTSIDE WARM UP). It will be sunny and 70 degrees!

- Group Photo
- Load equipment on buses and trailers
- Put jacket back on bus or with parent.
- Go in to Alamodome together in bibbers to watch the remaining bands and Award Ceremony from an assigned area.
- Masks will be worn 100% of the time when not playing.
- If you are riding with a parent, you may come in the Alamodome with us or depart with your parent. We would love to have everyone together.
7:00PM Depart for home / Bus riders - receive a box dinner from Jason's Deli
Midnight - Arrive back at WHS
- Those riding with parents will bring uniforms back to school on Wednesday.
- Those riding the bus will put uniforms away when we arrive.
BUS & MEALS
Buses
- All buses have been assigned and are on the google form below.
Meals
- Those riding the bus will be given $20 as you get off the bus for lunch (for lunch and snack later) and a box dinner for the ride home.
- If you are traveling with your parents, you will be given $20 in class on Monday, or if you are remote, there will be a table at the stadium to pick up your $ envelope.
TICKET & PARKING INFORMATION
- If you have questions about tickets, call UIL Music or the Alamodome. They know more about tickets than Mr. Dixon does. Any additional information given to us by UIL will be sent via the Band App.
- Parking is $15 at the Alamodome.
- All Tickets are $20 per person and go on sale on Monday, December 7. No admission charge for children under 3.
- Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion at the doors. The Box Office will open 75 minutes prior to first performance of the day and doors will open 45 minutes prior to the first performance in each session.
- Tickets are available in advance through Ticketmaster. Be advised that a Ticketmaster-imposed service charge will apply.
