Our Work From This Week
Look What We Did This Week
Writing- This week we began writing books of our own choice. We have learned how to write several different types of books and now students are choosing the type of book they would like to write in our last unit. We are using all we have learned about spelling, space and periods, writing introductions and endings and ellaboration to make these great books!
Math- Kindergarten students continued our work at looking at teen numbers this week.
In Mrs. Bradford's class we decided we would like to learn about electricity and we have spent some time this week learning about static electricity. We made a balloon stick to a wall and moved a can with a balloon. We have learned there are different ways we make electricity and we started to learn about circuits and how they work.
Mrs. Hughes class has decided they would like to learn about the ocean and all of the many things in the ocean!

We are going to IDEA Space KC in Leawood. This is a maker space lab that will allow our students to explore maps in a more hands on way.
If you would like to enter the raffle to be our student's class parent volunteer please let us know on the field trip form that is going home today. Parents are responsible for their own transportations and lunch. We are also asking that parents find care for any younger sibling they care for so that you can enjoy the day with their Kindergarten. Each kindergarten classroom is allowed to bring one parents with them.
EACH student needs to complete a liability waiver. There is a QR code on the permission slip form or you can clip this link. Student can not come without this being filled out. Please let us know if it doesn't work.
