Please Return Devices Taken Home for Summer
Now that we have started a new school year, we need your help returning these devices, which are critical to sustaining our 1:1 program! A new device will not be checked out and a fine for replacement will be issued from the district.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AT PVE
There have been many questions about birthdays and birthday treats. At PVE, we love celebrating our students, and our teachers have their systems in place to recognize our students, but we also ask that you follow the plan we have set.
- NO FOOD will be distributed. Due to the National Health Policy, district request, allergies, and other health issues, we will not be accepting food items. (Please know we will turn those away if they come to the building.)
- Pencils and erasers are always needed, used, and loved by students.
- Think about donating a book or game in your child's honor to the classroom this year.
- Reverse the birthday celebration and have the student recognize their peers with notes of thanks.
Our teachers will make your child feel special on their day. And for those students who have summer birthdays, we will also recognize them. Your child's teacher will share how that will happen in their room.
Also, no deliveries of gift, balloons, or flowers to students will be made. (Please see the Elementary Handbook.)
Thank you for supporting this policy at PVE!
Cell Phones, Smart Watches, and Gizmos
- You may not contact your child through their device during school hours. This is an interruption to the learning environment.
- Phones should be turned off and watches in school mode or do not disturb mode while students are at school.
- Students may not contact parents on their device. All calls for medical will go through the health office. Other concerns will be handled with staff.
Dress Code Reminder!
It's very important that you and your child review and understand the West Ada Dress Code Policy before the first day of school to avoid any possible disciplinary actions. To review the dress code in its entirety, please click here.
*Please note the detail about no hats at elementary. These may only be worn outside.
