PSO Donuts & Discussion: Thank you to the PSO for hosting Superintendent Shannon at our PSO meeting today and thank you to the families who joined us. Superintendent Shannon walked attendees through the approval and building process for a new middle and high school and took questions about cell phone us at CHS as a follow up to our last PSO meeting.

Grade 3 Visit with Author David Ezra Stein: Today Grade 3 students enjoyed a visit with David Ezra Stein, author of Interrupting Chicken among many other beloved titles. Thank you again to the CEF for funding this grant!

Monday Meet Up: On Monday Deer Hill came together to review behavior expectations with an emphasis on showing increased respect to all as we launch 2025. The highlight of our community meeting though was our first installment of Teachers Got Talent. Mrs. O'Brien and Ms. Decoteau talked about setting goals and perseverance before showing off their push up skills, and Ms. Flynn, accompanied by Ms. Dullea, sang the fan favorite, "Popular", from the musical and recent movie Wicked. You can watch Ms. Flynn and Ms. Dullea's performance here. If you're watching the Celtics game tonight, keep an eye out for Ms. Flynn who will be singing the National Anthem!

Hugo on the Case: Good thing 3rd graders are reading mysteries because they knew how to spot clues and avoid red herrings when Mrs. Clark's necklace was "stolen" by crafty 4th graders. Sherlock Hugo was happy to lend a paw in solving the crime!
