As we head into Fall, it's important to remember how easily germs can spread. Please encourage your children to wash their hands frequently with soap and water, especially before meals and after using the restroom. This simple step can go a long way in keeping everyone healthy!

Thank you to district residents Jean and William Herrstrom! Jean, a retired English Teacher, and her husband, recently went on a trip to Alaska. While there, they were in a small town, and met an Iditarod sled driver from Shenandoah, Iowa. They also came across an author, David Monson, doing a book signing for his book Granite, a book about the lead dog of the sled. Monson and his late wife Susan Butcher were both avid dog sled racers having competed in several Iditarods themselves.
