At North Plains Elementary, we believe in knowing, valuing, and empowering every child by focusing on learning progressions and growth within mathematics, writing, and Social Emotional Learning, to ensure that our students' access and strive for their desired life pathway.

We miss your child(ren) already!! Our learning week was packed full of learning, new experiences, and memories! I am constantly reminded what an honor it is to be a part of your child’s learning journey! The more we learn about ourselves and learn about each other, the stronger we are together. Wishing you a joy-filled school break with those that fill your soul most!

REMINDER :Spring Break is between March 24th-28th!

Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) instructional series will begin:

• Kinder & 1st grade between April 7th- 17th: letter HERE

SAVE THE DATE: Movie Night round 2 will be on Friday, April 4th from 5:30-7:30pm!

Evergreen Middle School incoming 7th grade family night on Wednesday, April 16th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

TENTATIVE: Kinder Orientation for incoming North Plains’ students on Thursday, May 15th from 5-6pm

A draft calendar (pp. 18-19) for the 2025-26 school year is on first reading with the Board. The calendar features a post-Labor Day-start, in alignment with a majority of the feedback received through a staff and community survey; a full week off for family conferences and the Thanksgiving holiday at the end of November; and a contiguous two-week winter break. The Board is slated to vote on the calendar at their regular session meeting on January 28, 2025.
