Cadet Marquez has achieved the extraordinary honor of being offered and accepting the prestigious Presidential NROTC Preparatory Scholarship at the University of Arizona, where he will pursue a remarkable academic journey in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. This exceptional scholarship is a full ride and will propel him towards a distinguished commission as a Naval or Marine Corps Officer in the United States.

Teachers in Space had a CubeSat aboard Blue Origin's historic all-female flight on Monday thanks to one of the women onboard, Lauren Sanchez! She requested a payload from us to fly under her seat, so we sent her the CubeSat based on the ones that students sent us to fly on the Perlan glider and also flew on the New Shepard rocket previously. She is interested in talking to New Mexico students who have worked with CubeSats, especially your students who worked on the CubeSat that we flew.
