Leaders of Change will be hosting a bake sale during Parent - Teacher Conferences. All donations will be used to help research pediatric cancer. Funds will be matched by OXO. Donations can be made to The Leaders of Change Bake Sale page.
Parent volunteers are urgently needed so that Maynard High School can have a PTO this year. The PTO supports the amazing teachers of MHS by brightening their days with food and fun. Parents are needed to donate food for upcoming events, to help with fundraisers, and to help with social media. Please email Mhighschoolpto@gmail.com if you can help this year!
The days are shorter, the temperatures are colder, it must be -- Telethon Season!! Once again, from December 13-15, our WAVM students will provide the Maynard community with a 40-hour weekend of entertainment, all with one goal in mind: raising funds for the Beacon Santa Fund, which makes holiday wishes come true for families throughout our region. You can donate using this link, in a donation can in a local business, or by bringing your auction items to the station. The mission of the Maynard Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to work for the understanding of, respect for, and support of all children with special needs in the community.
Maynard SEPAC works in collaboration with MPS community members to:
· Promote a network of parents and forums to share information
· Advise the school district on special education programs, training needs, and policy
· Promote communication between PAC members; local, state and national organizations, councils and groups
· Promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion within the community
· Provide informational forums for parents, students, educators, and professionals
Joining is easy - any community member who attends a SEPAC meeting or event during the year is considered a voting member. There are many ways to contribute and we will work with you to identify something that works with your schedule and responsibilities.
