A Message of Thanks and Appreciation
Dear EWRSD Community,
As we welcome the arrival of spring and the renewal it represents, I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for your ongoing partnership and support throughout the year. As we approach the remaining months of the school year, it provides an opportunity to reflect, celebrate progress, and look ahead to the conclusion of the year with a sense of hope and enthusiasm.
Within each of our schools, our classrooms are filled with the energy of learning, creativity, and curiosity. Our students continue to embrace the challenges and display ongoing growth in academics, the arts, and athletics. Their achievements not only reflect their own hard work, but the strong network of support that surrounds them.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank our dedicated staff, teachers, support personnel, and administrators, who bring passion, expertise, and care to their work each day. Their commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments has a lasting impact on our students and our entire EWRSD community.
Together as a community, we form a partnership that is essential to student success. Your support, encouragement, and collaboration continues to make a profound difference in the lives of children.
I hope spring break provides moments for you to rest, renew, and enjoy time with loved ones.
Please take a moment to read this letter from the superintendents of all Mercer County school districts, which reaffirms our unwavering commitment to the communities and students we are fortunate to serve.
Sincerely,
Mark Daniels
Superintendent of Schools
East Windsor - Hightstown Science Symposium 2025
In a collaborative effort, the South Asian Cultural Society of East Windsor (SACS of EW) and the East Windsor Regional School District (EWRSD) hosted the 2nd Annual East Windsor- Hightstown Science Symposium on March 29, 2025. Remarkably, participation doubled in just its second year, with students from Grades K–8 coming together to showcase their passion for science and innovation.
The symposium aimed to spark meaningful dialogue, foster collaboration, and inspire the next generation of scientific thinkers. The event was a resounding success, marked by the presence of Mr. Mark Daniels, Superintendent of EWRSD, a distinguished panel of judges—most of whom
were educators from our own schools—along with dedicated volunteers and the bright, aspiring
young minds of our community.
