Students were given the following questions: Who are Saints? Why do we celebrate Saints? What are the qualities of Saints?
Using the website: https://www.catholic.org/saints/, students conducted a web quest on a Saint they wanted to learn more about. Students also created Saint fact cards using Google Slides. They handed out their fact cards to classmates, other students, teachers and staff during All Saints Day. In art class, students created icon drawings of their Saints. They also created costumes and props to wear on All Saints Day, held on November 1. Students ended the lesson by creating a display of information and a special altar to honor Our Holy Saints. The fourth graders worked very hard and spent a lot of time and effort on this project. They were all happy with the end results.
