FND PEN and MDCPS are presenting three virtual workshop on 'Effective Parent Teacher Conference' in English, Creole and Spanish.

The English workshop was held on April 18th, at 12:00pm. FND PEN in collaboration with MDCPS is presenting a workshop on 'Effective Parent Teacher Conference'.

During this workshop we will be talking about strategies for a postive and collaborative parent-teacher conference. The parent and teacher need to set expectations for the meeting and come with ideas and open communication. Laying out the meeting agenda and meeting goals then sticking to them will help facilitate a productive meeting. We must remember like an IEP meeting our overall goal is the student.

Durante este taller, hablaremos sobre estrategias para una conferencia de padres-alcance positiva y colaborativa. El padre y el maestro deben establecer expectativas para la reunión y aportar ideas y comunicación abierta. Diseñar la agenda de la reunión y los objetivos de la reunión y así facilitar una reunión productiva. Debemos recordar que, como una reunión del IEP, nuestro objetivo general es el estudiante.
