STAAR Testing
Important Information
STAAR Testing 2023
- Here are the dates for upcoming STAAR:
- Reading (5th-8th) : April 25
- Science (5th and 8th): May 3
- Social Studies (8th): May 4
- Math (5th-8th): May 11
- STAAR no longer has any time limits which means students can test until the end of the school day if needed.
- All tests are completely online this year. Students will need their chromebooks to take the tests. Please have them charged and ready.
- For the reading test ONLY (April 25), students will be eating their lunch in the classroom this year. No food can be delivered to school that day (April 25). Students can either bring their lunch from home or they will receive a sack lunch from the cafeteria. For all other tests, lunches will be in the cafeteria.
- All electronics must be taken up before testing begins each day. Students will be required to turn in phones, earbuds, smart watches, etc.
