Given the rise in COVID cases in the school and wider Auckland community over the last week, I have made the decision to make the Transition Interviews phone interviews. The same booking times will be used but teachers will phone families at that time instead. The phone number used will be the the main contact number for your child or the one that you have added when making your interview booking. If you are unsure what the number is, or you would like to use a particular phone number, please email your classroom teacher.

Please remember these interviews are designed for parents / whānau to share their knowledge of their child to support their learning at school, not for ngā kaiako / teachers to share their knowledge of your child.

A form is being emailed home to you to provide some ideas as to what would be helpful to share with teachers.

The school is operating three bubbles for the safety of children and staff and to keep onsite learning in place for as long as possible. Should we have a positive case at school, our hope is that only one classroom or one bubble would be impacted and required to isolate. We are maintaining the integrity of the three bubbles at pick up, as the children, although outside, are sitting together to wait for parents.

We are able to manage everyone being dropped off at the same point in the morning as tamariki are not congregating and going straight to their classrooms.

Please remember there is a 40kph speed limit from Burnside Road to Church Road during drop off and pick up times.

If you need to collect your child early in the afternoon, please email or ring the office to notify us and collect them at 2.00pm at the latest.

The children are loving our new sandpit. A big thank you to Steve and Christie Harvey and Regan and Melissa Viall for their extra hard work loading and spreading the sand in our new sandpit. Also thanks to Stevenson Aggregates Ltd for the donation and delivery of our sand.
