Dropping off an item to your student?
All items should be in a bag or container with the student's name clearly written on them. If you are able to notify them that their item is in the Main Office, please do so, otherwise students will only be called down between classes or on their way to lunch.

For medications, those will need to be given to the nurse directly. We are able to radio them to the office for pick up but please be patient as they may be working with a student when we call.

Resource of the Month
Career Counselor
Mr. Josh Jarnigan has worked at Science Hill over the last few years as one of our school counselors but has recently transitioned into a new role as our career counselor where his major focus is on helping prepare students for what comes after they walk across the stage in May.
The career counseling office's belief is that students that have created a career plan maintain a more positive attitude and self image which enables them to be more productive both in the classroom and in their personal lives. We hope to have the opportunity to help you identify your options and get you started on the path that best suits you!
Students are able to see what opportunities are available to them whether its taking a career-interest test, enrolling in dual enrollment courses through one of Science Hill partnered colleges and universities, attend career and college fairs, and even applying for internships!
Mr. Jarnigan is located in the Career & Technology Education (CTE) Building near the front office and can be reached at jarniganj@jcschools.org.
