Summer EBT/SUN Bucks
Summer EBT, or SUN Bucks, is a new permanent nutrition program authorized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Pride Month is dedicated in celebration and commemoration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer pride. It is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact that LGBTQ+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.
IMMIGRANT HERITAGE MONTH | JUNE
Originally started in 2014, Immigrant Heritage Month is a month-long celebration that allows communities to explore their own heritage and celebrate the shared diversity within communities. During this month, we honor the contributions of immigrants to our great Nation and celebrate their profound impact.

FEEL GOOD STORIES
10+ years ago, Elle, Megan, and Alyssa were walking the halls in District 25 as students; now, they've got their own classrooms in District 25 as teachers!
In the last #d25Connections of the 2023-2024 School Year, we caught up with these first-year District 25 teachers along with the teachers that they credit with inspiring them to become educators - Mrs. Carlson, Ms. Iacovelli, and Mrs. Scott. Talk about a full circle moment! #d25connections #d25itspersonal
