Seniors! Seniors! Seniors! NOW IS THE TIME!!
Now is the perfect time to dive into your college applications! Remember, deadlines are key, so avoid procrastination. If you’re aiming for Early Action or Early Decision, be sure to feel confident with the application you are submitting.
Don’t forget the upcoming deadlines for UC and CSU applications, due in early December. Stay organized and give yourself plenty of time to review everything before you hit that submit button. You’ve got this!
If you’re still exploring your college options, don’t worry—it’s not too late to start your research!

Most Valuable Student (MVS) Contest:
The 2025 MVS application is now open. Applications can be found online at enf.elks.org/MVS. The application deadline is November 12, 2024.
The topic this year is "How Optimism Has Paved My Road to Success"
The Playa Vista Optimist Club is looking for student entries for the Optimist International 2024-2025 Essay Contest. The local award for the winning essay is $400 and the winner will then advance to the District Contest. The first-place winner of the District Contest is then awarded a $2500 scholarship and a plaque which is presented at a special District Awards luncheon.
Our club deadline is January 27th, 2025.
