Dear Sacred Heart School Families,
Welcome back! We hope that your Christmas break was filled with joy, love, and meaningful moments with family and friends. As we step into this new year, we carry with us the light and hope of Christ’s birth—a incredible reminder of the love and care God has for each of us.
The Feast of the Epiphany, invites us to reawaken our hearts to God’s call, to rejoice in His coming, and to recommit ourselves to living out our faith with purpose and joy. This is a wonderful message as we return from break with only a couple of weeks until we reach the half point in the school year.
This season also marks the beginning of our most important recruitment period. We are deeply grateful for the role you, our current families, play in sharing the mission and spirit of Sacred Heart School with others. Your stories, enthusiasm, and witness are our most powerful tools in inviting new families to join our amazing school family. By sharing your experiences and encouraging others to consider Sacred Heart, you help us continue to grow as a family rooted in faith, excellence, and love.
Let us approach this new semester with hearts full of gratitude and determination, embracing the opportunities to learn, grow, and serve. Let us find ways to strengthen and grow in our relationships with others and may we each be a light to one another, reflecting the joy and hope of Christ in all we do.
Below you will find the Mr. C Challenge which returns this week, information on our Father Daughter Dance and our upcoming Hat & Glove Drive.
Wishing you and your family a blessed week ahead!
In Christ,
Mr. C
January Calendar
PLEASE NOTE - 6th Grade TOB Parent Meeting January 8th is CANCELLED
Inclement Weather Reminders
Here are a few reminders as we move into the inclement weather season:
- Students need to dress warmly. It is important for the students to get outside and engage in physical activity. We will be going out for recess unless the real feel temperature is below 17-20 degrees. If we do need to remain indoors, we have a rotation schedule in place to allow each grade level to get into the gym or media center.
- Doors open at 8:30. Please do not drop students off early, particularly in the extreme cold. Before care is available if needed. Contact the school office for more information on this program.
- Should the need arise to close school due to inclement weather, we will notify parents via our Gradelink text and email system. We will also post our closure on Facebook and Instagram. If you see that Wadsworth Schools are closed, Sacred Heart will also be closed.
Donate to the Angel Scholarship
The Angel Scholarship Fund
Through the Ohio Catholic Community Foundation’s Angel Scholarship, you can redirect a portion of your state tax liability to support tuition assistance for our students. This means that while you make a donation now, you can claim the amount as a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your state taxes. It’s a wonderful way to give without the extra financial burden. Don't forget, any tax paying Ohioans can make a donation so spread the word to family and friends! For more information or questions about this program, please reach out to Mr. Jeff Flaherty at the parish office.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can continue to strengthen our school family and support our mission.
