Message From Principal Heard
Hello Trailblazers!
It is that time of year when we begin to plan for the 2025-2026 school year. One of the most important factors in our planning is school enrollment. Please help us ensure that we have accurate enrollment information by completing the Continuing Student Registration packet. We now have 62.24% of our returning families who have completed the registration process. This is nearly double what we had last week!
Our goal is to get 100% completed by March 31st. Please help us reach our goal completing your enrollment packet.
If you need assistance completing the process, we have two open labs scheduled on:
Tuesday, March 25. 2025, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Continuing Registration Steps:
Login and complete the digital registration packet via the online registration portal found here.
Review and complete any required forms located at the conclusion of the process. A packet is not considered finalized until this step is completed. In order for this step to be completed, you must click the FINALIZE PACKET button.
Please note: MEDICATION FORMS or ADDITIONAL SIGNED SITE SPECIFIC FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR.
Than you for your attention to completing the continuing registration process.
Warmly,
Teri Heard
Your Very Proud Principal

Trailblazer Trading Post
Since February, students have been working hard to demonstrate positive behavior that matches our Together, We RIDE expectations. When teachers or staff see them following the school expectations they might earn a Blazer Buck. We are so excited to offer the Trailblazer Trading Post as a space for students to spend their Blazer Bucks.
The first Trading Post opens this week (see calendar above for the specific dates). The menu for the store is included below. Please note there are a variety of items that a student can trade their Blazer Bucks in for. The menu shows many, but not all, of the items. Additionally, some of these are food items. Please speak with your children if you do not wish them to purchase or eat food items from the store.
We can't wait for students to experience the Trailblazer Trading Post!
SRES Students Shine at Rubik's Cube Competition
Earlier this year, DNHS students shared an opportunity for SRES students to participate in the CSUSM's Super Stem Rubik's Cube Competition. Last Saturday, four talented students from our school—Viaan Arora, Aariv Shah, Ryan Hung, and Max Jyala—put their problem-solving skills to the test at the competition. Hosted by California State University San Marcos, the event brought together young minds from across the region to showcase their speed, strategy, and teamwork in solving the classic 3x3 cube. Our students demonstrated incredible focus and perseverance as they tackled timed challenges, working together to complete their cubes as efficiently as possible.
We are so proud of Viaan, Aariv, Ryan, and Max for representing our school with enthusiasm and teamwork! Congratulations to them on their achievement.
