Christmas Concert Week! The energy that is created by this event is undeniable. The teachers are doing an incredible job keeping students focussed and on track. We also had a visit from St. Nikolaus on Friday. St. Nikolaus and his helpers filled a shoe that was made by each child in the school with an orange, a candy cane and a chocolate surprise. He even had time to visit our K-3 classes to wish them a Mary Christmas. A wonderful German tradition we were able to share with the whole school.
December has also brought with it icy conditions at school. Please make sure you are being careful and staying away from the ice. We've taught the kids to walk like a penguin on icy sections and believe it or not it works for the adults too.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the concert on Wednesday.
