NEWS FROM THE PANTHER DEN
WEEK 29 EDITION
WEEK 29 REFLECTION
Spring Break is always an exciting time of year. It is a time to rest, unwind and refresh from the winter months. It is an opportunity to reflect on what has been accomplished so far this year but also to look forward with anticipation to the final "sprint" that is the end of the school year. When we return in April we will be gearing up for the Spring Sports Season, the spring musical, concerts, senior events, awards ceremonies and yes, end of year assessments like NJSLA and APs. The third marking period will be drawing to a close and the final marking period will begin. The break comes just at the right time so that students and staff alike can give it our all to finish out the year strong.
I'm not one for giving homework over the break but here are some recommendations for you to listen to for next week!
1) Rest and Relax! Catch up on sleep. Curl up with a good book. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine!
2) Spend time with family and friends! Take a day trip. Go out to dinner. Play board games. Do something that you may not normally get to do as a family during the busy weeks of a school year.
3) Practice self care/wellness. Go for a walk or run. If you are a gym person, get a good workout in. Maybe you enjoy yoga or meditation as a way of relaxing. Spend time focused on you if you can. I'm looking forward to doing some yardwork and things that don't require much deep thought! Maybe I might even get a few rounds of golf in!
4) Travel. If you are the type that likes to get up and go, taking a trip to the shore or a getaway spot that isn't too far might be the right thing for you. Either way, spend time doing what you love!
Enjoy the break and I look forward to hearing about your adventures when we return! Have a great spring break!
