The Trekker Times
October 28, 2024
Dear Bishop Baraga Trekkers,
This Friday, All Saints' Day, is a Holy Day of Obligation. We will be attending Mass at 8:00 a.m. at Saint Mary and Saint Joseph Parish. Please join us! Students come to school that day dressed up as a saint. They have been learning about the saints, and I can't wait to see their costumes! This link has some simple ideas for boys costumes: https://www.catholicicing.com/all-saints-day-costume-ideas-for-boys/ Here are some ideas for girls: https://www.catholicicing.com/all-saints-day-costume-ideas-for-girls/
Parent-teacher conferences are next Thursday, November 7th. We will have dismissal at noon followed by conferences. Please sign up for a conference on SchoolSpeak. If you have any trouble logging in or getting signed up, please call the office and Mrs. Steinbrecher will help you.
Our Caught Being a Christian Award this week goes to Hanna Hill, one of our second grade students. Hanna was the only one to pick up the toys and sidewalk chalk when asked by the playground monitor. Great job, Hanna!
Have a wonderful week!
God bless,
Angela Oller
The 5th and 6th graders helped our preschool and pre-kindergarten students carve pumpkins.
Thank you to our Parent Association for a wonderful Friday night event! The students had so much fun playing on the playground in the dark and roasting marshmallows. Thank you to everyone who made this such a great night!
