Picture day is scheduled on the day your child has PE class

Post picture day ordering is available once the school receives the proof sheet. These orders include an additional shipping fee and are mailed directly to your home address.

Students in Mr. Ugolino’s English classes are enjoying their classroom library space, thanks to a generous grant from the Rondout Valley Education Foundation. The grant purchased a comfy bench, bean bag chairs, a cozy rug, and even some plants to create the perfect reading nook. They also have a new camera that can be used to capture student work directly from the classroom. Students are already loving the space and making the most of it!

In Ms. Backman-Fleischer's Home & Careers classes, students are making homemade bread! After baking the bread, the students get to eat the bread they made. Yum!

If you have not already done so please return the blue health emergency form. It is important to have up to date contact information. For those who have returned them, thank you!

A physical is required for 7th grade and for participation in athletics. Please ensure a valid exam is on file.

Will you be LUCKY #100?? We’re close to our goal of 100 memberships for the 2024-2025 school year! If you haven’t already, staff, parents and students can join here: https://rvmsptsa.memberhub.com/store or send in the paper form with a check to the school and our 100th member will receive a special gift from the PTSA!

As a reminder: the Miles for Our Middle School Walkathon is on Saturday October 5th from 12pm-4pm on the Athletics Track. All students will be participating in gym class starting 9/26 so even if you’re unable to attend that day, donations will help get us to our goal. We are currently at 28% of our overall goal this year!

Classroom Leaderboards are posted in the gym, cafeteria and library to show the competition for the class prizes available to the homerooms who raise the most pledges. They will earn a party for the entire class!
