January Update

Wales Families,

As we enter the new year, please know we are always here to support your student and your family! Please ensure your student comes to school each day with a coat, hat, and gloves as we try to get students outside every day. When we have snow on the ground, we encourage students to bring snow gear as well. Students LOVE getting to play in the snow with their friends and always make the coolest creations.

-January 10- 1/2 Day & NO Preschool

-February 17-21- Winter Vacation

Our website is the most up to date place to find all things Wales Elementary. We post all menus and important notices on here as well.

Things change! =) For any pick up change that is known in advance, please use one of the yellow notes and send this is on the day of the change. If for some reason the change happens during the school day, please call the office ASAP but no later than 2 pm. Also, please send a note each time your child rides their bike to school noting if they will be going somewhere other than home. Thank you in advance!

Please be reminded that we are a NUT FREE school.

Please see the following protocols below:

-Students must be 24 hours fever free without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to school.

-Students must be 24 hours vomit free for 24 hours prior to returning to school.

If your student requires medication that needs to be taken during the school day, please complete a medication consent form.

Also please ensure your emergency contacts are up to date in Power School so we are able to contact someone incase your student is sick or having a medical emergency.
