CELEBRATIONS
Great things are happening at WCS!
This Thursday we gathered as a school to celebrate with our Second-Trimester assembly. With these assemblies and the awards that are given, we recognize not only our students' hard work and strength of character, but also how good it feels to be part of the audience, cheering and supporting our friends. Well done, Wildcats!
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS
We will be hosting the 28th annual Battle of the Books at WCS on April 10 at 6 pm. Over 100 students from the surrounding area schools (Fisher Mitchell, Phippsburg, West Bath, Georgetown) will be participating in this game show style competition involving the Maine Student Book Award books. Good luck to the 26 Wildcats who have been reading and practicing for this fun night!
EAT THE RAINBOW: NEXT WEEK
Next week we celebrate Eat The Rainbow week! Students and staff are asked to dress in different colors for different days as we learn about the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables. Each afternoon, students are treated to samples of different colored produce.
