Spring conferences will be available by appointment only according to the following schedule:

• Tuesday, March 4, 2025: 7am-8am and 4pm-8pm
• Wednesday, March 5, 2025: 7am-8am and 4pm-8pm
• Thursday, March 6, 2025: 7am-8am and 4pm-8pm

* Please note: Conference are 10 minutes with the teacher and the remaining 5 minutes are to pass to the next conference.

To give greater flexibility in scheduling conferences, parents/guardians will have access to their student's teachers calendar and schedule a convenient conference time. Parent/guardians will need to click on the link below to schedule a time to meet with their student's teachers.

Write down confirmation number after you have scheduled your conferences. You will need this if you need to log back in to see your appointments or make changes.

Dear Parents,

Teacher conferences are fast approaching! This year, the conferences will be held on March 4th, 5th, and 6th, from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM and again from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM each day.

To help feed our wonderful teachers during these busy days, I’ll be setting up two sign-up sheets:

1. Breakfast & Snack Items: This will provide grab-and-go items in the morning since teachers will be arriving early.
2. Dinner Items: This will cover the evening meals for the teachers.

Dinner Menu:

• Day 1: Taco Bar
• Day 2: Baked Potato Bar
• Day 3: Salad/Leftover Bar

Breakfast/Snack Items should be at the school for the start Tuesday 7am.

Please have all dinner items at the school before 3:00 PM on the respective day. Some quantities might seem large, but they are meant to carry over for the various meals (e.g., sour cream will be used for both the taco bar and baked potato bar).

If you’re able to contribute, please sign up for an item or two or consider making a cash donation to help offset the costs. We will ensure everything is prepped and delivered. If you have time to help with prep, please let your Vital Team know!

Kids Pak Annual Food Drive

Volunteer as a Grocery Store Greeter!

Grocery Store Greeter Duties: Please report to your shift 10 minutes prior to the start time to receive instructions.

• Make sure to dress for the weather!

• Explain why we are there

• Greet customers with the KidsPak grocery list

• Provide information about KidsPak

• Accept and stack donations

• Work with store staff on keeping the area clear and clean

Volunteer as a Driver’s Assistant!

Duties:

• Closed-toe shoes required (no sandals or flip-flops)

• Dress for the weather!

• Pick up food collected at individual stores and return food to the warehouse

• Unload food at the warehouse

• Heavy lifting and walking required

Each shift will start at 250 West 69th Court in Loveland where drivers/assistants will receive their assignment.

Students! Join us in the library on Monday, March 10th to make spirit posters for Tuesday's Unified Basketball game! You will earn volunteer time for helping with this, and there are 8 volunteer slots for each period on Monday (you can only participate if you have an open period, and you are welcome to help for more than one open period if you want). Sign up for one or more open periods with this sign up genius!

Note: Priority for signing up will be given to Seniors who need in-school volunteer opportunities; if you are a senior and find when you try to sign up that all slots are full for a particular period, please contact Ms. Barrett.

Graduation will be held at Max Marr Stadium on May 24, 2025 at 9:00am. All other graduation information will be sent out in March.

As you may know, the Thompson School District Board of Education has begun searching for our next Superintendent of Schools to follow Dr. Schaffer when he leaves us at the end of the current school year.

The Board has hired McPherson & Jacobson, a national school superintendent search firm, to assist us in finding the most qualified candidates available. As part of this important work, the Board has asked our search consultants to gather information and comments from stakeholders. So we would very much appreciate it if you would take just a couple of minutes to answer a few questions through an anonymous online survey. ALL students that drive to BHS are required to display a parking permit in their vehicle to park on campus. Please register your vehicle at the following link: http://bit.ly/bhspermit or use the QR code posted by the main office for your FREE parking permit (1st=free, if replacement is needed=$2.00/ea.) Once you have completed the form and it has been processed, you will be called to the office to pick up your permit. The permits are good until the student graduates and will be turned in at that time.

Why is this necessary? For the students and staff safety we need information on every vehicle here at the school. Any vehicle without a permit or who is parked in violation of other school rules or laws may receive a Parking Violation from BHS. First offense is a $20.00 fine and fines go up for second and third violations. Payment must be made to the school’s Bookkeeping Office within 14 days after receiving the violation.
