Dear TCPS Families,
I wish you all a joyous and restful holiday season and winter break. Please enjoy time with family and friends, but also try to be vigilant about safety so that everyone is able to return ready to roll into the new year!
During the break, please carefully monitor your household for symptoms, and pursue testing as needed, especially as we approach our return to school on January 3. You may also wish to utilize testing that is available at our schools. With COVID cases and positivity rates now at an all time high, we want to keep our school environments as safe as possible. Our intent is to continue with in-person learning for all of our students, as we know this is what is in their best interest.

THANK YOU WMES Grandparents Club!
Shout out to Jackie Schwencer and the WMES Grandparents Club! They spent yesterday packing up 20 Holiday Meal Baskets for families in need. It was a school community effort with donations from the Grandparents Club, WMES Student Council, The Sons of the American Legion in Easton, Higginbottom Orthodontics, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Trappe. #TCPStogether
Take the survey! Give Talbot County your input on using the relief funding received as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Local funding in this legislation was divided between cities and counties across the US, with Talbot County government receiving $7,211,026.
Eligible uses include addressing the negative economic impacts of COVID-19 with assistance to small businesses, households, and hard-hit industries. Local jurisdictions also can invest in infrastructure projects.

Bullying and cyberbullying, harassment and intimidation, hazing, and/or bias behaviors are unsafe behaviors that do not reflect respect for others as defined by Policy 10.16 on STUDENT CONDUCT – BULLYING, HARASSMENT OR INTIMIDATION. If a student is a target of one of these behaviors, you can report it using the Bullying, Harassment, or Intimidation Reporting Form (linked below).
The form is also available at all schools, in the main office and the school’s counseling office. Students can also report issues directly to a staff member. When a situation that involves any of these behaviors is reported, staff members will respond quickly and will provide a practical, private, and safe place to report.
