Get Ready for Latino Books Month
May is Latino Books Month in Rhode Island! Initiated by RI Latino Arts and now in its fifth year, Latino Books Month RI promotes books by and for Latinos. This month-long celebration is sponsored by the Association of American Publishers (AAP), which encourages librarians, teachers and booksellers to promote books written by and for Latinos and it encourages communities to read Latino books in both English and Spanish.
Check out the 2018 nominees and get ready for voting in the spring by downloading flyers and ballots at http://www.rilatinoarts.org/LatinoBooksMonth.html.
