MSDE Student Climate Survey
Starting on Monday, March 31st, students at PPMS will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the school climate by taking the MSDE Student Survey. The survey is a state requirement for students in grades 5 to 11 each year. The survey data is confidential and collected by the state. The data is utilized on the Maryland School Report Card for schools and districts.
Students will be taking the survey through their science classes according to the following schedule.
- 8th Grade Students - Monday, March 31st
- 7th Grade Students - Tuesday, April 1st
- 6th Grade Students - Wednesday, April 2nd
The survey takes roughly 30 minutes and students will need a charged Chromebook. If students are absent, they will be given an opportunity to make up the survey prior to Spring Break.
Additional information regarding the survey including frequently asked questions (FAQ), test bank questions, etc. can be found at the following link or in the attached parent letter.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Mr. Tyler (PPMS Testing Coordinator) for help.
