A Note from Mrs. Longden
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
Faith is the first focus in the mission of Catholic education, with all areas stemming from the belief in and love of Christ. Families are the first teachers in the faith; not only in their religious practices, but in raising their children with love, respect, and a strong sense of morals. We are fortunate to have classrooms filled with students who have already been shown how to walk in Jesus’ footsteps. It is through these beginnings that teachers can continue to help students grow in their faith. The strong foundation you have provided for your child will carry them into their adult lives. Students in Catholic schools are more likely to be faithful adults, practicing Catholics, and display strong moral fiber, through involvement and volunteerism. A Catholic school foundation is one that allows the faith to carry into future generations.
Excellence is demonstrated in our schools in ways that extend beyond the traditional scope of academics. Academic excellence shines in our Catholic School, but this is only a piece of the puzzle. Catholic education supports the education of the whole child, with the understanding that academics are strong with physical education, music, art, and technology initiatives. We are immeasurably thankful for the teachers, who have demonstrated their excellence.
I would be remiss not to thank our families for the excellence they have shown in their support of teachers and our school. Parents and guardians are tasked with many jobs in supporting their child’s education. Without this partnership, academic excellence would be impossible. Our students grow not only through the academic excellence provided by teachers, but also through the support which comes from their homes and families.
It is a unique privilege to serve students and families through Catholic education. Service within Catholic Schools can be viewed in many ways. It is the service of our teachers to the school community, the service of our families in providing for their children, and it is the way students learn to serve others. Acts 20:35 shares with us through remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive". This spirit of giving is alive in our School community, as students learn, not only to give through material items, during events such as food drives, they also learn the importance of the love they give to others. This is once again a reflection of the foundation provided by their families; for a student to understand that the love they give can change the world. Students who are a part of Catholic education are more likely to demonstrate service through volunteering and community engagement and are also more likely to show their love of others, with an increased openness to differences and embracing of others.
Thank you for your continued faith in the mission of Catholic education and for entrusting the most precious gift into our school, your children.
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden
2025-2026 Registration
Thank you for your continued support of Holy Trinity and for prioritizing Catholic education in your child’s life. Registration for the 2025-26 school year is underway.
Tuition alone does not cover the cost of your child’s education. In addition to your tuition, support from our parishes and monies raised by third source funding help to cover the remaining gap. Therefore, the support of your parish and various fundraisers significantly impacts the cost of tuition.
It is our belief that when you send your child to Holy Trinity you place a high value on quality Catholic education. Your investment is personal, precious, and lifegiving. May God’s blessing be with you as we work together to provide the best learning environment for your child(ren).
Registration is due February 25th. After that, the instructional fee increases.
Home and School Information
Thank you to the Middle School families who took the survey! An afternoon of Bowling and Pizzas was the most popular vote for this year. Please watch for further emails as we explore nailing down a date and all the details.
Our next fundraiser will be Thursday, March 20th: Cousins Sub Dine-Out night! Please mark your calendars (and menus) and plan to pick up a sub or two to support HTS! The more the merrier, so spread the word to all your family, friends, and neighbors!
Check back here and on the Facebook Family page for more details in the upcoming weeks!
Coincidentally, if you DO plan to dine-out that evening, consider purchasing a Cousins Sub gift card through the Scrip program to double your support of the school!
Happy St. Valentine's Day!

Wildcats Athletics
Hello Wildcat families,
As our basketball season comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each of you.
To our athletes: Your hard work and determination have been inspiring! We love witnessing your growth throughout the season. We are also proud of the way you represent our parish and school through teamwork, sportsmanship, and Christian values.
To our coaches: Stacey, Dani, Katie, Nick, and Justin—thank you for your leadership, guidance, and tireless efforts in shaping not only athletes but also outstanding young people. Being a coach is a time commitment, and it takes a special kind of person to do it. We are so grateful for YOU!
To our refs- Tim, Woody and Gary. They are knowledgeable, fair, and a joy to work with. I would like to give a special shout-out to Tim and Woody for generously donating their time and talents to our program. If you see them around, please take a moment to say "thank you" for their support!
To our families and fans, your support has been invaluable. Your encouragement means the world to our teams. Also, the way in which everyone steps up to support our program makes our job as athletic directors manageable and fun!
Wishing our 8th-grade girls all the best as they move into high school, and we hope to see everyone else next Wildcat basketball season!
God Bless--
Nick and Angie Kern
