The Austin Elementary PTO has organized our one and only fundraiser for the 2022-2023 school year. We are raising money to support many of our school wide activities and events, including Field Day, House Celebrations, teacher grants, etc.

Language Arts
*Phonics Workshop - I can read, write and spell high frequency words.
*Readers Workshop - I can read words even when they don't follow a pattern.
*Writers Workshop - I can evaluate and improve my writing.
*Grammar Talk - I can identify and write a complete sentence.
*Handwriting - I can write the letters j and y.
Math
* I can use objects and pictures to compose and decompose numbers up to 99 in different ways. I can say a number and how I can decompose it using academic vocabulary (tens, ones).
*I can collect, sort and organize data using tally marks on a t-chart.
Science
*I can compare, describe, and sort different components of soil based on observable properties, such as size, texture and color.
*I can record and organize data using pictures, numbers, and words.
