Hello Families,

Kindergarten is starting the year off with color days next week! Each day we will focus on a different color and do activities that will correspond with that color. To make things even more fun students can wear the color of the day! If you don’t have a certain color, that is okay! Purchasing items is not necessary. This is a school wide event, so siblings are encouraged to participate as well! Please let us know if you have any questions!

Calling all 3rd-5th graders interested in running Cross Country for the Wilson Wildcats! Please sign the permission slip in order for your student to participate!

Runners must have Final Forms completed in order to participate as well!

Practice Dates:

• August 12-15
• August 19-22
• August 26-27

Practice Times:

• 3:30-4:45pm

Every student that plans on playing a sport for Wilson HAS to have a Final Form on file and they only have to do this once. Final Forms are a one-time fee of $5.

Per GCCS Guidelines, students must wear tennis shoes to gym. Please communicate with your child's teacher if you have any questions regarding the schedule.

To ride the bus, a bus Transportation Request Form must be completed. Then, the parent will need to download the Ride360 app to see the student's bus information. Finally, once the student's bus information appears, the parent will need to call the school to let us know they have been assigned to a bus and are now a bus rider.

Please double check your Traversa app and make sure you are aware of the AM and PM route. Students who ride one bus in the AM could potentially ride a different bus in the PM. Please scroll down in the app to check.

Greater Clark County Schools and Wilson utilize School Messenger, a quick alert messaging service that is being utilized to communicate COVID-19, weather-related closures/delays, emergencies, and general communications such as important school announcements or events. Text “yes” to the number 67587 to receive text alerts from GCCS.
