Bloomingdale Blast
March 28, 2025
Bloomingdale Avenue School
We've had a wonderfully busy and successful week! Please take a moment to see some of the highlights below:
- As part of a 2nd grade Math project, students collected and analyzed data to develop their own ice cream flavors. In partnership with Vanilla Bean Creamery, each 2nd grade class created a brand new flavor. Each one was a delicious hit 🍦 Thank you to all the families who attended, and a special thank you to Mrs. LoGiudice-Alfano, Mrs. Oricchio, Ms. August, and Ms. Bera for this initiative.
- We hosted our "Tournament of Books" finale today. Students gathered together in the gym to celebrate the overall champion. The winning book was Interrupting Chicken!
- Thank you to the PTA for hosting our Goodbye Winter Social. We celebrated the end of winter with hot cocoa and crafts. We hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the festivities.
- Report cards will be available today
- Looking ahead, the Variety Show Rehearsal will take place on April 3rd at Cranford High School. Additionally, tickets for the Variety Show go on sale April 1st at 9:00 AM. The PTA will be sending out an email with the purchase link, so keep an eye on your inbox!

Take care,
