Buffalo Express
October 24, 2024
Buffalos,
Thank you so much for attending conferences and meeting with our staff. We truly value collaborating with each of you! A few reminders:
- Student Drop Off and Pick Up- Parents that are dropping off students in the morning and picking up in the afternoon need to get in line from Berryton Road. This maximizes safety and efficiency.
- Appointments During the School Day- Our top priority is learning for students, thus students will remain in class until their guardian has arrived at Berryton. Once guardians arrive, Office staff will call for students.
- Calling All Veterans- On Monday, November 11th we will honor all of our local Veterans in a drive-by parade at 2pm. Please complete the form below so that we may honor you as you drive through our parade. Our students are so excited to celebrate each of you!

Halloween Details for BES
BES Art Corner
This week was a short week but oh so busy! 6th graders finished their skulls by adding color! You will love seeing them as you head to your child's conference! 5th grade used chalk pastels to make midnight pumpkin art! As messy as this is, they loved it, and most have never experienced chalk pastels before! 4th grade used our new tempra cakes to make a full moon with a bat hanging from the tree! They loved this new paint and how smooth it goes on to paper! 3rd grade also used tempra cakes to make 5 pumpkins stacked on top of one another, based off the book! 2nd grade wrapped up exploding candy jack-o-lanterns! They used construction paper crayons, and they are awesome! I bet you might see construction paper crayons on their Christmas wish list! 1st grade did fall silhouettes! I loved seeing how something so simple amazed them! Kinders drew their webs that we practiced on last week and added their adorable little spider to it!
