Reminder: School Starts at 7:40 AM!
Being on time is essential for a successful school day! Lately, we’ve noticed an increase in tardies, which can disrupt the learning environment for all students. Please help your child arrive at school by 7:40 AM so they can start their day ready to learn. Thank you for your support in fostering punctuality and responsibility!

Grizzly All STARR
We are thrilled to announce that we have implemented a new initiative to reward students who are following or exceeding our behavior expectations. Students can now earn Grizzly Bucks for demonstrating our STARR values. These expectations were thoughtfully created by a committee of four students from each grade level, ensuring that our program truly reflects the voice of our student body.
Grizzly Bucks can be used to purchase items at the school store, and the enthusiasm among our students has been wonderful to see. They are genuinely excited and proud to receive their Grizzly Bucks, which fosters a positive school environment.

Student Dismissal Procedures
We kindly request your support in reinforcing our school's dismissal procedures. Students are not permitted to self-dismiss by texting or calling home directly to arrange for pick-up. If your child is feeling unwell or needs to leave school early, they should follow our established protocol by visiting the school nurse or office, who will then contact you if dismissal is necessary.
Thank you for helping us ensure the safety and accountability of all students. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the school office.
Nurse's Notes
7th grade physicals: All 7th grade students need to provide a copy of their physical to the school nurse in accordance with the Massachusetts 105 CMR 200.100.
SPORTS PHYSICALS: If your student plays sports, a physical must be provided each year in order for your student to even try out for the sport.
Please note: Physicals are only acceptable for 13 months from the date on the physical form. After that time, a new physical must be submitted to the School Nurse, or your student will not be allowed to play, as their physical has expired.
Physicals can be emailed to Rgoetz@dcrsd.org , faxed to 508.248.1418, uploaded to final forms or sent in with students.
