The action of what Rosa Parks did eventually led to the bus boycott, which then led to Freedon Rides.
Freedom rides were for civil rights activists who rode interstate buses into the segregated southern US in 1969. This ruled that public segregated buses were unconstitutional. The southern states had ignored the rulings and the federal government did nothing to enforce them. The first freedom ride left Washington DC on May 4th, 1969. This led to desegregation on all public transportation.
