FROM THE PRINCIPALS
A Great Week at CMIT-South!
Weβve had an amazing week of teaching and learning here at CMIT-South Middle and High School! Our students and staff have been working hard, and weβre excited to see all the progress being made across the board. Speaking of working hardβ¦A big shoutout to our CMIT-South Middle School girls' basketball team, who will be playing in the Semi-Finals today. Letβs cheer them on to victory as they aim for a spot in the Finals on Monday! Go Tigers!
As a reminder, the end of the quarter is Friday, January 24th. Parents and students should continue to monitor grades on Synergy. Students are encouraged to connect with their teachers for support or clarification where needed. If there are any questions or concerns regarding grades, please contact the teacher as soon as possible to ensure timely resolutions.
Our scholars will participate in Benchmark and MAP testing over the next six weeks to assess their growth and progress. Please see the schedule below:
Science and Social Studies/History: January 21β27
RELA (Reading and Language Arts): January 28β31
Math: January 21β27
MAP-RELA: February 10-14

Itβs important for students to arrive at school on time, well-rested, and ready to give their best effort. A healthy breakfast and a positive mindset go a long way toward testing success!
As temperatures continue to drop, we encourage all students to layer up and dress warmly. Please ensure your child wears CMIT-South outerwear while in the building to stay comfortable throughout the school day.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our CMIT-South community. Letβs finish the quarter strong and continue to celebrate our students' achievements!
