PARKER WEEKLY BULLETIN
Week of 5-26-2025
Message from Principal Blagg
Good afternoon Parker Families:
It was a very busy week at Parker! We had so fuch fin as a community celebrating Spirit Week at Parker where students embraced different theme days such as spring sports day, beach day, Red, White, and Blue Patriotic Day, and Hawaiian Day. The students showed great spirit and seemed to revel in the fun and excitement.
Memorial Day Assembly
We held a school wide assembly today in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. Student representatives from each of the eight teams in the building read meaningful poems and passages honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and preserve the freedoms we cherish as Americans. Our amazing Select Chorus, Festival Band, and Festival Orchestra performed the national anthem and Mr. Linsner and Mr. DeStefano performed "Taps" at the conclusion of the assembly. It was a moving and meaningful tribute and the ceremony made me so proud of our students here at Parker. I want to extend my special thanks to the following students who read their passages in front of the entire school community. We are so proud of you!
Indira Singam, Madison Williams, Ryan Rosetti, Ansh Patel, Liam Crannell, Elizabeth Ruete, Matthew Micozzi, Claire Souza, and Natalie DeVito.
Artists of the Month - Terry Phan and Chrissy Megaly
We are proud to announce our May Artists of the Month: Grade 5 Terry Phan and Grade 6 Chrissy Megaly. Under the inspired supervision of Ms. Ashley Norman, both students have blossomed into fantastic artists. According to Ms. Norman both students are not only talented but two of the hardest working and committed students she has had. We are so proud of you both! Please see their artwork below.
Parker PRIDE Run
The Parker Pride Run was held last Sunday morning and a great time was had by all. This was a truly fantastic family event where over 150 runners raced, had fun, and enjoyed a truly beautiful morning. Special thanks go to Alysun Kenney and the PTO for sponsoring and organizing this event!
Safety Drill
We will be conducting another safety drill to practice our emergency response protocols next week. We will be working with the Chelmsford Police and FIre Departments as we continue our efforts to prepare our staff and students should an emergency occur.
