Franklin Central High School: 2019-20, Issue #6, 9-3-19
Halfway through the first quarter
ASVAB Testing - 9/16
The ASVAB test will be administered Monday 9/16 at 8:00 am. All Sophomores will be testing, plus Juniors and Seniors who have not yet taken or passed the exam. This test will take approximately 3 hours. Testers who attend Central Nine Career Center will not be attending their C9 Classes this day to allow them to be a part of ASVAB testing.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is comprehensive aptitude test followed by an interest assessment which helps students learn more about career planning in both the military and civilian worlds of work. Franklin Central has determined not to release scores or student information to military recruiters.
ASVAB was recently approved to be part of a Graduation Pathway for Indiana students. This means that students who earn a qualifying score on the ASVAB can graduate even if they have not passed the ISTEP test. With this in mind, please encourage your child to be well-rested, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time.
~~~Attention FC Students~~~
Attention: UPDATED SHOT RECORDS are needed no later than 9-11-19 for students to attend on 9-12-19. If you have an appointment scheduled, please be sure to confirm that with the clinic as verification for the process.
