Mentor Mii - We need volunteers!
Dear Grant Line Families,
We are looking for adults to mentor our students at Grant Line. If you are a Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa, or Cousin, we are looking for you. Mentors meet with students once a week for 30 minutes to connect and offer encouragement. We appreciate you and respect your valuable time. We are willing to work with you and your schedule as to when you visit with the student. You can come at 7:45 am before you go to work or anytime during the day. Mentors must pass a limited criminal history check and will be provided with a brief training. If you or someone you know are interested in this life changing opportunity, please contact Lisa McCory at 812-542-5707. Thank you for your valuable time in this important matter! It is caring people like you who make a difference in the lives of our children.
I wish you well,
Lisa McCory, Counselor

Counselor's Corner
Hello Parents,
I hope everyone in your homes are healthy or on the mend. This week, I am visiting all K-2nd grade classrooms. Our topic is honesty, why it is important and how to be honest when it is hard to do. Please talk to your children about what they learned as well as the value of telling the truth.
