We're already planning for the 2025-2026 school year and are excited about the year to come!

The parent input form is optional, but it is your opportunity to provide information you feel is appropriate pertaining to your child. Parent input is part of our normal school year class placement process. While it is a part of our process, it is not the only factor considered. We assure you that all parent input is read and processed as a team.

Please remember this is about your child, and so we ask that families refrain from naming or making requests for specific teachers.

Please complete the form by May 2, 2025 so we can make the BEST and most informed decisions!

Books Due on May 12

All student library materials are due on Monday, May 12. Please encourage your students to turn in their library books on or before that day. Any student who still has books checked out at the end of the school day on Monday, May 12 will receive a notice later that week.

Summer Book Check Out

Would you like your child to check out books from our Naumann Library to enjoy over the summer? Have I got a deal for you! Students will receive a permission slip to check out up to 10 books to read over the summer. Summer book check out will take place the last week of school. See permission slip in Wednesday folders for all of the details. Questions? Feel free to call or email Karen Jordan in the library.

Sora: Online Book Check Out

Did you know our district offers a way to check out books electronically? Sora is an online library for our LISD students. Students can check out 3 ebooks or audiobooks at a time for up to 2 weeks. Books may be read on your family computer as well as downloaded to a portable device. Students can access Sora in Launchpad. Check your student’s Wednesday folder in mid May for more detailed directions on how to check out books in Sora. I encourage you and your child to try checking out a book in Sora before the end of this school year. If you have any problems or difficulties doing so, Mrs. Jordan can help troubleshoot.

The window to order a yearbook has been extended! Supplies are limited and will go fast!

Wondering if you have already purchased a yearbook? You will receive a confirmation email from Jostens verifying your purchase. Please hold onto that email confirmation after you make your purchase as it will be your receipt in case you have any issues.

As part of our growing efforts to expose students to Entrepreneurship we have expanded our Young Entrepreneurs Camp to include a Four Points Middle School Location June 16-19 and Wiley Middle School location July 14-17. This is a great way for students who may not have room in their Middle School schedules to experience this curriculum. Please share the Flyer/Registration Information attached, with your current 4th-7th grade students and families as a fun summer opportunity.
