Friday 2/28/25 is a County Institute day for teachers.

PTA meetings will take place in the Husky Den at 6:00 pm.

The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) is the state assessment and accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district. IAR assesses the Illinois Learning Standards and will be administered in English language arts and mathematics to all students in grades 3-8.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) in March. Students will take ELA assessments on Tuesday 3/11, Wednesday 3/12, and Thursday 3/13 in the morning. Students will take Math on Tuesday 3/18, Wednesday 3/19, and Thursday 3/20.

Morning Drop Off

We have a number of staff members outside to assists students ensuring that they get into the building safely. If you are driving your child to school we are asking that you consider refraining from parking in the parking lot and walking your children up to the door as the parking lot is a busy place in the morning. Please consider pulling through the middle lane and dropping your child off. Supervisors will direct you to a safe space to drop your child off safely.

Dismissal

The end of the day is also a busy time of the day. In an effort to ensure that students students exit safely we ask that you remind your child that they may not walk through the parking lot at the end of the day without an adult. If you are picking up your child please park and meet them at the door they are exiting.
