Wow! What a week that we had! Even though we melted and sweated our way through the week and the day, I think this might have just been one of our best Homecomings that we have had in a while! The students were pumped up all week and worked hard on some amazing spirit day outfits and on making their floats look great! When Friday night came, it was their moment to shine and they did that from the beautiful way all of our young ladies looked to the way that the football team took care of business on the field.
This Homecoming wasn't just about the game, who was going to be crowned, the food or the outfits. It was about celebrating the heart and soul of Wynnewood High School. It was about demonstrating our pride and our spirit. We are more than just students and faculty, we are a family, a tribe, a community and a tradition that continues to push towards excellence.
Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this such a great day for all of us, young and old. Seeing Savages of all ages smiling and happy and able to enjoy each part of it makes all the long days worth it. Once a Savage, Always a Savage! 💓
