We have a goal of raising $300,000 to complete the Sanctuary Remodel Project - bringing our sanctuary up to date, with new seating, lighting, paint, carpet, and an updated platform design.

As you know, our church is committed to reaching our community for Christ. With your support, we’ve been able to make great strides in this area, but we know that there is still much work to be done. That’s why we’re launching this campaign to raise the funds we need to create an inviting and encouraging space, which will have a transformative impact on our ability to fulfill our mission. Wednesday night come have dinner with us at 5:30 pm. Suggested donation of $5 per person and sign up in the Welcome Center and we will be having Italian Night (Pizza and Salad Bar) for dinner.

Join us in the Fellowship Hall after church on Sunday, October 13th.

We will be providing hot dogs for lunch, then we will pack shoeboxes.

Our Goal this year is to pack 390 Shoe Boxes!

We are collecting candy for Parkade Elementary's Trunk or Treat, the more candy the better, we are collecting until October 27th. We will be hosting the trunk or treat in our parking lot October 30th from 4-5:30pm. At 5:30pm we will be serving Hot Dogs and Chips for everyone. Come and help us serve our community by making sure the cars all have enough candy and help serve hotdogs as well. We will not be having any regular activities that evening, so come help serve. The school has said if anyone from the church is interested you are welcome to have a trunk for the event too. Please sign up at the events table in the welcome center to have a trunk or serve that evening.

This Month we are collecting Small Drinking Cups

The new Blessing Box is in place and is working out wonderfully. We are collecting items once again for those in need, below are the items needed for the box.

Items Needed items:

tooth brushes

toothpaste

shampoo

bar soap

deodorant

combs

Canned vegetables

Canned fruit

Canned pasta sauce
Canned meat: tuna, chicken, Spam
Individual instant meals: Canned meals such as spaghetti o’s, Mac and cheese, spaghetti, ravioli,

Our children's department activity this month is a trip to Lloyd's Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 26th, from 10:00am-12:00pm. If your family would like to join us for this trip, please sign up at the Kid's Check-In Desk in the Welcome Center.

If you are interested in volunteering downstairs on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, please contact Elizabeth Cook (elizabethc@parkade.church). We are also currently in need of people to help check kids in on Sunday mornings!
