This is quite possibly the most fantastic group of new HPS recruits ever assembled! These top-notch educators spent this week in new teacher orientation fine-tuning their skills. Now they are ready and headed to a classroom near you! We are SO thankful they chose to serve here at HPS. Welcome everyone! #fireupgoeagles
Thank you to everyone who participated and attended our "Touch-a-Truck" event this week. The kids were able to explore many different vehicles and were able to learn and practice bus safety. A special shout-out to our incredible transportation department who organized this fantastic event. #fireupgoeagles
This morning, our incredibly talented students kicked off our welcome back event for our staff. #fireupgoeagles
We kicked off our school year this morning by gathering with our teachers, staff, and some very talented students. Guest speaker Jon Gordon , author and leadership teacher, got our staff fired up to start and finish the year with a positive mindset. Thank you to Jon, and everyone who made it possible for us to celebrate another year with the best students, teachers, and families. #fireupgoeagles

Thank you to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office and the Jamestown Township Fire Department for organizing such a successful "Cram the Cruiser" event. The Hudsonville community was so supportive and incredibly generous. What a fantastic start to our year! #fireupgoeagles
Three cheers for 40 years! Jill Elenbaas started at HPS working summers in the office/custodial. She then went full-time as one of two administrative assistants at the high school. Jill was initially in charge of athletics, the guidance office, and attendance. As the district grew and positions were added, Jill chose the athletics office as her home away from home. She is always wearing her best smile. Thank you for all you do for our student-athletes, Jill! #fireupgoeagles
The game Jenga was invented by game designer Leslie Scott, and perfected by Ms. Bast's second grade class at Georgetown Elementary. Indoor recess for the win! #fireupgoeagles Georgetown Elementary PTC
We have a new school resource officer this year. Deputy White will be assisting primarily with our middle and elementary schools. A West Michigan native, he is a HUGE baseball fan and indicated the Red Sox are his favorite team. When asked what his walk-up song would be he went with "Voices Inside My Head" by The Police. Welcome Deputy White! #fireupgoeagles
Thank you so much to our fantastic family volunteers who visited some Jamestown Lower Elementary students today. These rockstars showed our students all of the fun that can be had during indoor recess. #fireupgoeagles @Jamestown Elementary
