There is so much happening on our campus and so much to celebrate, and I wanted to pass this on to you all. If you know Erika Matson, you know she's incredible!! She submitted this art piece to the CTA Cesar Chavez & Dolores Huerta Education Awards Program, and she WON!

In addition to some $$, her piece will be on display at CTA Headquarters in Burlingame and she will be featured in an article about the award recipients in the California Educator magazine.

In her written statement about her piece, she attributes growing up in Chico and attending Rosedale as a driving force toward becoming an advocate for groups besides her own. If you see her, please give her a shout-out. She truly is a remarkable human being and I'm so proud of her for all of her accomplishments.
