Happy Holidays from Norwich Middle School

Dear Caregivers,

We appreciate the trust you have in us that you have in our school as well as the commitment you have made towards your child's education. We extend our thankful wishes to you and your loved ones for a happy holiday season, and commit that we will continue to work hard each day for the best education for your child.

We hope that this holiday season wraps you all in the warmth and love of family and friends, and that you are able to get some needed rest and relaxation. Please know that everyone at Norwich Middle School is preparing for the return to school on January 3rd.

We look forward to an amazing rest of the school year. As always, if we can be of any service to you or your student, please let us know!!

A note from the Science Department

Science News! All grades are approaching the end of our Earth Science Units, which means it's time for them to set up their second composition notebooks. If you haven't sent your student with the three notebooks at the beginning of the year, please send them with a new composition notebook upon the return from break! If you have any trouble acquiring a composition notebook, please contact the main office. We look forward to seeing the great things your students will do!

Digital Resource Questionnaire

Dear Norwich City School District Parents and Guardians,

Collecting accurate data regarding digital resource access for our students will greatly help educators to better serve their students and families. In order to accomplish this, the New York State Education Department is asking parents or guardians to complete a Digital Resource survey for each student in the family, grades Kindergarten –12. This survey will ask for information on student devices and internet access at home. We ask that you complete the survey online via the Parent Portal. Please follow the directions below.
