Mr. Hubert: Gary Hubert: huge thank you to Mr. Hubert for organizing the Mr. Snowy Ice cream event for PBIS. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for organizing such an amazing event. Your dedication and meticulous planning were evident in every detail, making it a memorable occasion for all.
Sra. Andres: Mrs. Andres has been instrumental in helping my daughter advance in her Spanish! Per my student, "Mrs. Andres makes the class fun, and honestly, her class is like therapy for me." You are a shining star, Mrs. Andres! Thank YOU for all that you do for my daughter and all of the students at TRMS!
Ms. Wiechman: Ms. Weichman goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are not falling behind and that they get the help they need! She will email not only the students, but the parents as well to keep them updated before issues arise. She makes herself available every day to provide further instruction to students who need it, and she's just a nice person! Thank YOU, Ms. Wiechman!

Veteran's Day
Dear TRMS Families,
As we approach Veterans Day, we have a special opportunity to honor the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the military. We invite you to participate in our TRMS Wall of Honor, a heartfelt tribute to our military family members. This is a chance for our community to come together and celebrate the sacrifices and contributions of our veterans. Each picture will be displayed on our Wall of Honor, allowing us all to reflect on the courage and dedication of those who have served.
How You Can Contribute:
Please send in a picture of your veteran or active-duty service member. It can be any size—just make sure it captures their spirit! Along with the picture, kindly include the following information on the back:
- Your child's name
- Homeroom teacher
- Grade
Deadline for Submission:
To ensure your loved one is included, please submit your pictures by 11/6/24.
Thank you for helping us honor our heroes and for being a part of this meaningful tribute. Together, we can show our gratitude and appreciation for their service.
Change of School Assignmnet - New process/timeline
We want to inform you of an important update regarding the Change of School Assignment (COSA) process. Recent changes to Board Policy JBCD: Change of School Assignment dictates that students wishing to attend a school outside of their home attendance boundary will need to follow the new Change of School Assignment (COSA) process and timeline. The application window for all Fulton County Schools’ changes in enrollment is now one process, held at one time, with a beginning date of December 9, 2024, and closing January 15, 2024. FAQ for School Transfers - Fulton County School System
Additionally, please be aware that some schools, including the Fulton Academy of Virtual Excellence (F.A.V.E.), FCS Innovation Academy, Global Impact Academy, and The Promise Career Institute, will follow independent enrollment processes. We encourage you to reach out to these schools directly for more information.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
At Fulton County Schools, we truly value the feedback from our parents about their experiences with the district. That is why I encourage all parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey. This survey allows parents the opportunity to tell us what they think about their student’s schools and the district. While we always make it a priority to listen to our parents, this survey affords us another opportunity to receive your thoughts and opinions.
The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.
It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between October 17 and November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.
The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.
The parent FAQ is now available in:

October is Bullying Prevention Month (Click Images for info)
6th and 7th Grade Families
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our school cares about the safety and well-being of our students, and we want to make sure
Taylor Road Middle School is a good place for students to learn. We are going to be presenting a Bullying Prevention Presentation to our students. Our goal is to reduce and prevent bullying
problems. This presentation is for all students, not just those who are being bullied or who are
bullying others. Parents and guardians play a key role in this presentation. Student will be asked share with an adult at school and at home if he or she is bullied or sees bullying happening at school. It is very important that we all take any bullying seriously and inform our school staff. Bullying should not be seen as “kids being kids” or something that students just need to deal with. Having a safe school experience is something all students should be able to enjoy.
If you have any questions about the presentation, please reach out to your child’s grade
level counselor.
Sincerely,
TRMS Counseling Department
