CCA Scholars & Parents,

Our Fall semester is packed with events and activities!

As CCA follows the TCC calendar, please remember we must attend school on Friday, 10/11, and Tuesday, 10/15. We have an incentive opportunity, if we can achieve 96% attendance on both of these days. Updated CCA Bus Routes will be sent out soon.

Please be preparing for TCC & Tarleton mid-terms. Scholars should show parents TCC, Tarleton, and UT OnRamps course grades for updated progress, since these are not reported in Skyward. Continue to keep up with your college work!

PSAT exam will be taken Wednesday, October 23. PSAT is a preparation exam for SAT, college entrance assessment. And for 11th grade, PSAT is part of the National Merit Scholarship program as a qualifying test.

CCA scholars will be taking their Fall Benchmarks in English 1, English 2, Algebra 1 and Biology beginning November 6. These exams provide great information and preparation for STAAR and the End of Course (EOC) exam taken in April.

Plan ahead for TSI Testing!

We will be offering TSI during College Seminar during these weeks:

- November 11-15

- December 9-13

- February 3-7

- April 7-11

If you would like to schedule to take TSI, please complete the TSI Test Scheduling Form.

If you have not already completed the Lunch Application, please complete by Friday, October 11. Please apply whether you think you may qualify or not.
