Prior to Thanksgiving Break, an email was shared with parents/caregivers regarding the formation of various committees in response to the defeat of the November levy. Please take a look again at the letter from Superintendent Wright and the committee opportunities as the district prepares for another round of cuts prior to the anticipated May levy. I hope you will consider involving yourself in recommendations, factual information, and advocacy. All committee meetings will be held throughout the month of December to start. Meeting location is Nordonia Middle School at 6:00 p.m.

The annual Santa Holiday Shop, hosted by the NF PTA, is scheduled for the week of December 9th during your child's regularly scheduled library time. Each year, many adult volunteers are needed, and you can sign up to assist at the PTA's Facebook page link. Students typically come to the shop with a pre-determined list of gifts for family members, and a specific amount of cash. Further details are forthcoming, but mark your calendars now for this seasonal favorite.

• NF School Twitter/X Account: Due to lack of use from the NF community, the NF Twitter account will be closed on December 31, 2024. Some individual teachers may continue with their classroom accounts, though.

• PTA Candle Pick-Up: If you ordered candles from our PTA fundraiser you have (2) days left to pick up your order from the Annex. Both Wednesday, December 4 and Thursday, December 5 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. is the time frame.
