BFH Falcons View
January to 6 to 10, 2025
Principal's Message
Dear Falcon students and families,
Happy New Year! Our entire Bev Facey staff hope that you had a restful break and were able to recharge and get some well needed rest before starting 2025. We are looking forward to working through the last outcomes of the first semester with your students to prepare them for their Final Exams, which begin in two weeks. Please refer to the "Final Exam Schedule - January 2025" below to become familiar with the planned times of each of their final assessments.
This first week back will see us quickly moving back into the swing of things academically. The focus of the week will be on the administration of the Part A common exams for grade 10 and 11 English and Social classes. Regular classes for all students will continue while these important exams are administered. Next week sees the administration of Diplomas in both English and Social.
In order to balance our classes, we will be running a "Flip Day" on Thursday, January 15. This will have all our students with their morning classes switching to the afternoon, and the afternoon classes in the morning ( see the explanation in the Article on Part A Diplomas). This time of year often comes with a lot of stress and pressure. Please touch base with your children frequently to provide them the support and confidence they might require moving into the final days and final assessments of the first semester.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Ken Wlos
Principal
